What We Do

Our Services

A quick look at the deck work we handle most.

Deck Installation

New deck, framed and built to hold up under a full house's worth of furniture and people.

Deck Repair

Soft boards, wobbly rails, and sagging frames fixed without tearing out what's still good.

Deck Staining & Sealing

Stops sun-bleached, splintering wood before it turns into a rebuild.

Custom Deck Design

Multi-level decks, built-in seating, and layouts sized to how you actually use your yard.

Composite Decking Installation

Boards that won't warp, splinter, or need restaining every other summer.

Railing Installation & Repair

Rails that meet code and won't wiggle when a kid leans on them.

Who We Are

A Deck Builder Who Actually Shows Up

We build decks, fix decks, and refinish decks that have gone gray and splintery. Most of the people who call us have one of two problems: the deck they've got is starting to feel unsafe underfoot, or they want a deck and don't know where to start. If your railing wobbles when you lean on it, or a board flexes more than it used to, that's not cosmetic, that's the frame telling you something. We work on wood decks and composite decks across Anaheim and the nearby cities.

The fix depends on what's actually failing, not just what's visible. A soft spot in the decking might mean the joist underneath is rotted where the ledger meets the house, which is the single most common failure point we see. We pull the boards, check the framing and the flashing, and only replace what requires it instead of tearing out a deck that's structurally fine. On new builds we run the post bases and hardware to current seismic bracing requirements, because a deck that shakes loose in an earthquake is a bigger problem than one that just looks dated.

What people said afterwards

Had a joist rotted out under the back corner of our place in Anaheim, didn't even know until it started sagging. Fixed it in a day and the new boards match close enough you can't tell.

Deck Repair · Los Angeles, CA
Went with TimberTech after they explained the price difference. Took an extra week because of a supplier delay but they kept me posted the whole time.

Composite Decking Installation · Long Beach, CA
Our deck out in Orange was gray and splintery, hadn't been sealed in years. Looks like new cedar now, my kids can walk on it barefoot again.

Common Questions

Questions we get a lot

Questions homeowners ask before booking a deck project.

Do you offer free estimates for deck work?
Estimates for deck installation, repair, or staining are free and come with a written breakdown of materials and labor. Most estimates can be scheduled within a few days of an initial call.
Are you licensed and insured to build decks in California?
Deck construction in California requires a contractor's license, and any deck attached to a house or over 30 inches high in Anaheim also needs a building permit. Insurance covers both the crew and the property while work is underway.
How soon can you start my deck project?
Start dates depend on current workload and how quickly materials, especially composite decking, can be ordered from the supplier. Most projects get a firm start date within one to three weeks of the estimate.
What cities do you serve besides Anaheim?
Deck work is done throughout Anaheim and nearby cities including Orange, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Santa Ana, and Huntington Beach. Locations beyond that area are still worth asking about, since drive time just factors into scheduling.
Do you build decks for condos and rental properties, or just single-family homes?
Decks get built and repaired on single-family homes, rental properties, and small multi-unit buildings. HOA approval or landlord permission is the property owner's responsibility, but city permit paperwork is handled directly.
Will you take on a small repair job, like one rotted board?
Small repairs like a single rotted board, a loose stair tread, or a wobbly railing section are taken on regularly. Not every call needs to become a full deck rebuild.
How do I get started if I want a quote?
Call or send a message describing the problem or the deck being planned, along with photos if it's a repair. A time gets scheduled to look at the deck in person before any price is given.
What does a new deck typically cost?
Cost depends mainly on square footage, decking material, and how far the deck sits above grade, since height changes the framing and railing requirements. Composite decking runs higher per square foot than pressure-treated wood, but requires far less upkeep over time.
Do you require a deposit before starting work?
A deposit is standard before ordering materials, with the balance due on completion of the work. The exact split gets spelled out in the written estimate before anything is signed.
What happens if it rains during my deck project?
Framing and structural work can usually continue through light rain, but staining, sealing, and any concrete footing pours get pushed until conditions are dry. Anaheim's weather rarely causes long delays, but a rescheduled day gets communicated as soon as it's known.
